Heyla and welcome to a Game of Cersei, a Cerseified version of A Game of Thrones where we just focus on the most interesting character. This review was taken from season 4, episode 2, originally entitled – The Lion and the Rose.
The important part of the eppy begins with Cersei having a lovely family dinner outside. Like a picnic, only fancier. Â Cersei is seated next to her father, Lord Tywin, and Tyrion is seated on their father’s other side. Sansa is there also and so is Shae. Shae, if you’re new, is Sansa’s handmaiden and Tyrion’s whore.
Tywin hates whores and he told Tyrion if he ever caught him with another one he would kill her. Now Shae is more than that to Tyrion, they love each other, but Tyrion was forced to marry Sansa. His father would totally cut him off and maybe kill him if he chose to run away with his one-true-love, and since Tyrion is a Little Person, living in a very hateful world his father’s money is the only thing keeping him alive.
And so he stays with his teenage bride who hates him and mated with Shae in secret. Unfortunately for both of them the secret is out. That is what Cersei’s spy had come to tell her in last week’s episode.
